Lebanon Man ID'd After Fatal Lititz Crash On Rt 322: Lancaster Co. Coroner

A 68-year-old Lebanon County man has been identified following a crash on Route 322 on Friday, Lancaster County Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber told Daily Voice.

Michael Halupa of the 220 block of Black Oak Road died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash into a tree at the intersection of Route 322 and Pumping Station Road in Lititz, Elizabeth Township at 2:56 p.m. on Feb. 23,  Chief Deputy Coroner Bieber detailed.

Following an autopsy at the Lancaster County Forensic Center, his cause of death was determined to be multiple traumatic injuries, and his manner of death was ruled accidental, according to Bieber.

No one else was inside Halupa's vehicle and no other vehicles were involved in the crash, Bieber explained. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation, according to police.

This is the second crash at that intersection in about a year.
